Lance

Lance is the clinic's owner and has worked in the physical therapy field since 1996. He is an active diver and snowboarder, as well as an expert surfer having surfed Mavericks consistently since 1995. Lance has extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics, including a special emphasis on knee and shoulder injuries. With his surfing background and orthopedic physical therapy experience, Lance has become the go to person for surfing related injuries. He occasionally helps out as a member of the onsite healthcare team at ASP (Association of Surfing Professionals) events in California. He is also involved with Operation Rainbow, a nonprofit organization dedicated to performing free orthopedic surgery for indigent children and young adults in developing countries worldwide. Lance has gone on multiple medical missions to countries in Central and South America. He also leads the aquatic therapy program offered by the clinic.

Justis George

Justis is the latest addition to the Ocean Beach clinic. With a passion for sports, he first became interested in PT while working with UC Irvine Athletics. After graduating with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Western University in 2012, Justis began his career as a PT in New York City, where he worked in a busy orthopedic practice. He treats all orthopedic issues, but does have a special affinity for patients with hip and spine dysfunction. He also enjoys working with post-op patients and helping them reach optimal return to recovery and performance. Outside of work, Justis enjoys playing basketball, rooting on his favorite sports teams, and enjoying some of the Sunset district’s best Asian cuisine.

Andrea Anderson

Andrea earned the Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from UCSF/SFSU and has an undergraduate degree in dance from UNC-Greensboro. Her 10+ years teaching Pilates, 6 years as a massage therapist, and a lifetime of dance experience inform her approach to physical therapy rehabilitation. She develops personalized treatment programs, incorporating the mindfulness and focus that are an emphasis in Pilates with a variety of exercises and hands-on manual techniques to enable each patient to return to doing the things they love. She has a special interest in pain research and strives to empower patients with an understanding of their condition, so they can take control of their health and wellness. Andrea loves getting outside, and enjoys running, Pilates, yoga, dance, and rock climbing.
